- Copy of U.S. Citizen petitioner's birth certificate or if a naturalized U.S. Citizen a copy of his or her Certificate of Naturalization
- A copy of the foreign national fiance's birth certificate (including English translation if applicable.)
- A complete copy of the fiance's passport (including all blank pages.)
- 2 passport style photographs each of the petitioner and foreign national fiance
- Evidence that you and your fiance have met in person in the last 2 years. (A waiver of this requirement may be available in some cases.) Such evidence can include time stamped photographs, airline ticket receipts, hotel receipts, letters from family members who have knowledge of your meeting or similar evidence.
- Copies of divorce judgments if you or your fiance were previously married.
- Petitioner's most recent tax return, pay stub, and letter from employer indicating position and rate of pay
