Jackson Michigan Attorneys & Lawyers
P. Curtis & Associates, PLLC is a Jackson, Michigan based law firm which was founded by Philip C. Curtis in 2007. I have practiced law in Jackson, Michigan since 2002 and I am the fourth generation Jackson attorney from my family.
My great grandfather, George H. Curtis, was a Jackson County Probate Judge and started a private practice in Jackson in 1901. His son, Robert N. Curtis joined his practice after graduating from the University of Michigan and was later joined by my father, Philip J. Curtis. The firm which my great-grandfather started in 1901 still survives today, is owned and operated by my father and is where I spent the first five years of my career as a lawyer specializing in business transactions, criminal defense and general civil litigation.
In 2007 a left the full time practice of law to start an internet retail company which I still own today. I maintained my law practice during this time but limited my practice to a select number of immigration law cases. Once my new internet company was up and running I expanded my immigration law practice which is now very busy.
I recently decided to expand my law practice further and resume handing select cases for Jackson area business and individuals in the following areas of law:
