How much income do I have to show for the Affidavit of Support?

Form I-864, the Affidavit of Support, requires the sponsor to show income at 125% of the current federal poverty guideline. Active members of the U.S. military only have to show income at 100% of the federal poverty guideline. The income required is based on your household size or the number of persons who are dependent on you.
