During the adjustment of status process all applicants are required to appear before a USCIS officer for an interview. Many people who go through this process are nervous about this interview. In most cases, there is nothing to be nervous about. I believe that the anxiety surrounding this interview is created, largely, because of rumors and misinformation about the interview process. I have heard stories about applicants being separated and asked strange questions about the couples sex life or the other intimate details of the relationship.
